This is short notice, but I thought some folks here might be up to the challenge. For Halloween on The Fedora Chronicles, I'm hosting a version of H.G. Wells' story "War Of The Worlds," and I'm looking for images of what it would have looked like as if the panic cause by The Mercury Theater's audio play was real: What would an invasion by "Martians" or beings from another planet have looked like in 1938? What if World War II was faught against Aliens instead of Nazi's? That's the look I'm going for. I'm looking for what ever you have to offer: Mix of your own CGI with Photoshopped images of World War II. You can do horror, humor, far-fetched fantasy (Touch of Sky Captain and the World of Tommorow?) The sky's NOT the limit. The best photos will be entered in a special poll and folks will be able to chose which one was the best. Mail them to me at renderking@thefedorachronicles.com, or send me a link to where you have them hosted on your own website, and please be sure to send me links to where you found the original artwork so we can honor other people’s copyright and give them some credit. This is a great way for talented artists to have their work showcased: If this is successful, I'll make this an annual event, and maybe do other versions of this project through out the year... Thanks in advance.
