If you haven't heard of this guy he's something else. Check out his website www.anchorstone.comSo? Is he a nut job or for real? He claims to have discovered: Noah's Ark, The Ark of the Covenant, the true location of Sodom and Gommorrah, the actual Mt. Sinai etc... He tells a convincing story to be sure but it sounds more like Indiana Jones type stuff as opposed to real archaeology. What're you all's thoughts?

Actually, Ron's site is www.wyattmuseum.com. I'm one of the Wyatt faithful myself. The Ark has always interested me the most out of all his claims. I believe that he's telling the truth on that mainly because of the blood on the mercy seat. Since Jewish law said that only the sacrifice's blood being sprinkled on the mercy seat atoned for sins, the only way for Jesus to fulfill the law as the sin offering would be to do the same thing; and that's what makes it seem plausible to my mind. Something else that caused me to have faith in the Wyatt claims is that I've gotten to personally speak with Richard Rives, who took over Ron Wyatt's organization after his death; and Jerry Bowen, who heads up Anchor Stones. They've done (independantly) much research into Ron's finds, and have a ton of facts to support them. Mr. Rives is actually still taking teams to Israel to verify the Ark claims. They're doing sub-surface radar scans to pinpoint the location of the ark chamber. He said he wasn't at liberty to tell me all of what they're doing, which leads me to believe that he's working with the Israeli Antiquites Authority. But that's just me.

Thanks for the link correction...I couldn't find that one! I agree that if he isn't for real, then he is one heck of a researcher. I have read and been really impressed with his writings and accounts of what have happened in his life.
At the same time, I am still a bit skeptical.
I do have a question for you...I thought that the location of the Ark wasn't supposed to be revealed for a long time...until after Christ comes back (it has been a long time and I haven't gone to check this up) if that is the case...why are these other guys connected to Ron Wyatt continuing the search if it will be revealed in due time...because they won't be able to find it.
I hope this post doesn't sound argumentative because it is not intended in that manner.

Don't worry, I don't take it as argumentative. Best as I can remember, Ron's account said that the ark itself won't be revealed till the Tribulation-period Temple. The Temple Institute (www.templeinstitute.org) says they know where it is, so they might be hiring Ron's group to pinpoint it. Just my opinion though.
