For those of you who haven't heard, the Israelis recently unearthed the palace of King David in the Jerusalem area. Almost simultaneously, they also discovered the original Pool of Siloam that is mentioned so prominantly in scripture. Has anyone else heard about this dig? Dr. Carl Baugh is in charge of digging up both sites, and he's been taking civilians with him to help unearth it. Also, the Israeli government has put him in charge of excavating what appears to be the actual stable where Jesus was born. Interesting stuff if anyone wants to follow up on it.

There's some stuff on the Pool of Siloam at bibleplaces.com, but the other two digs are more low-profile right now. You can email Dr. Baugh's Creation Evidence Museum (www.creationevidence.org) for more about Ir Davi and the stable.
